The ASIS ACT Government Security Training is the most specialised component of SAGE — and the hardest to access. Running on the same day as the exhibition and seminars, it delivers intensive, practitioner-led masterclasses exclusively for government employees and DISP members.
This isn’t general security awareness training. It’s focused, advanced, and built around the specific obligations, frameworks and environments that define security work in the Australian government sector.
Training eligibility is strictly managed to ensure high-level peer interaction.
Commercial security professionals, integrators and consultants are not eligible for the government training streams. All other SAGE programme elements — the exhibition and free seminars — remain open to everyone.
Training is delivered across two concurrent masterclass streams, giving participants the ability to choose the sessions most relevant to their role and agency.

No. The ASIS ACT Government Security Training is exclusively for government employees and DISP members. If you work in commercial security, you’re warmly welcome to attend the exhibition and the Free Seminar Series — both are free.
Government training is separately ticketed. Pricing is available when you register. Exhibition and seminar attendance remains free for all registered attendees.
Yes. Training runs 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and the exhibition and seminars run 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM — there is flexibility to move between components during the day.
